Care for your handwoven items -
All weaving is hand-washed as part of the finishing process, so don’t be afraid - I recommend you hand wash in lukewarm water using a small amount of a mild detergent or wool wash
Squeeze the excess water out gently, rinse in cool water and then lay flat if possible to drip dry.
Do check what the type of yarn is - this will be stated on the description.
Silk and silk/mohair etc are happy with the above and Acrylic and acrylic/wool mixes are much more forgiving.
Just take care with pure wool items as they are prone to felting if roughly treated in hot water!
Use a light cool iron if you need to smooth out any creases.
